New Product Development Program Manager
New Product Development program managers are responsible for cross functional leadership of the product developmentprocess for multiple programs at any given time.
While there are many globally dispersed functional groups that own anddeliver significant portions towards the development of our products, the program managers are the central logisticalcontact for a given product that the organization looks to for driving accountability and results.
They lead throughout the product development process:
feasibility, planning, design, product validation, qualification,sampling, and ramp.
They develop and maintain detailed program schedules, identify, and address gaps, and proactivelyassess and mitigate risk throughout the execution.
Drive regular and special cross-functional team meetings as needed.
Work with suppliers to understand lead times and ensure timely delivery, track project expenditure and budgets, presentproduct plans and status to executive management.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the product developmentprocess.
